30 Days of Me-Day 15 9-17-10

Day 15: A fanfic

Well, maybe I live under a rock but I'm going to be honest here: I have no clue what "fanfic" means. So, I looked it up. And, I'm still lost. lol. I even went to fanfiction.com and browsed through a few things there..and yes, still no clue what I'm looking for. lol. As far as I can tell by wiki's description, a fanfic is an original work redone by a fan? Gosh, I have no clue. So, since I'm completely lost and backward when it comes to this, rather than posting one I'm going to ask for others to post them in the comments section (assuming that anyone reads this..which I'm beginning to think they don't. lol) in order to school me on the matter. Thanks!

We have to do a fanfic thing? I have no idea what that is either! Crud!

A fanfic is like a made up story about a TV show, cartoon, book, etc. Like the author can put things in a story that may have happened in the show, cartoon, movie, etc. and it may or may not (usually doesn't) happen later in the show/movie/book series/etc. Like...if you watch Secret Life, people made fanfics about Ricky and Ashley being together after their makeout session and that ended up not happening in the series.

Hmm..okay. Seems kind of odd to me. haha. So, if I were to write that Dwight and Angela from the Office got back together and had a baby..(which who knows, may happen in the future)..it would be a fanfic? lol.

Born and raised in Southern Ohio. I'm a country girl at heart, though I love the culture and adventure of city life. I graduated high school in 2006, March of 2011 with my AA in Psychology and in 2014 with my BS in Substance Abuse Counseling...but I'm still not quite sure what I want to "be" when I grow up. One thing I will always be is a wife and mother, and those are the two most important jobs to me. I love to write, read, and sing. I'm one of those people that loves being creative although I'm not really cut out for it. I'd be lost without my family--I'm unusually close to them all. I'm also extremely attached to my friends. I consider myself an independent person if need be, but someone who sees nothing wrong with depending on others and being someone people can depend on as well.

Also born and raised in Southern Ohio, he met me at 17 (shout out to Long John Silvers! lol) and we became high school sweethearts. After a short time in college, he decided it wasn't for him and joined the US Navy. His Navy career has taken us to IL and here in VA and now FL. He's extremely dedicated, very strong, smart, and dreadfully stubborn. Loves cars, playing guitar, computers, and his family (what's not to love?) Not sure of what he's going to do after the Navy, but we know that his training now will give him the opportunities he wants and needs to provide well for our family, and we love him for that.

Born on 6-3-09..our life as parents began that day. He's such a treasured blessing to us. You never know how much your heart is capable of loving until you lay your eyes on your child. We're so proud of him. He's such a fast learner. A complete and total goof-ball, just like Mama & Daddy. He's smart, sometimes too smart for his own good, and FULL of energy. He has a sensitive, old soul and a kind heart. He sometimes gets his feelings hurt easily, but he's often in tune with the feelings of others. He's a bit of a mama's boy, but he loves goofing off with his dad. As far as we're concerned, the world revolves around the precious faces of our boys.

Our most recent blessing arrived 9-8-11. A laid-back and relaxed baby..turned a wild, determined, strong-willed toddler. He's the perfect addition to our family. He keeps us on our toes and is constantly making us laugh. He is rough and tumble and full of energy. He has an unbreakable will and is stubborn just like his Daddy. We thought we'd have a calmer child the second time around, but we got one that give his big brother a run for his money. Wouldn't have it any other way. When we thought we couldn't love another human being like we love Xander, welcoming Archer just proved that the love of a parent is never divided but, instead, multiplied.
