This book is awesome. It's set in the 40s I believe, and details the life of a young boy with big dreams as he talks back and forth with a famous baseball player at the time. The book is so interesting and it's an extremely quick read. It's set up as letters and post cards between the two main characters as well as newspaper clip-its, report cards, etc. The book is really funny but it's also very sweet and had me (and my husband) shedding a tear at the conclusion.
